A blackbody radiation source is a dedicated radiation reference light source or heat source device used to approximate an ideal blackbody. It achieves this by heating a cavity or surface to a stable, controllable temperature, causing it to emit electromagnetic radiation with a definite spectral distribution and radiance according to Plancks law at that temperature. Since the radiation characteristics of an ideal blackbody at a given temperature are unique and calculable, blackbody radiation sources fabricated in engineering (such as hollow blackbodies or radiation surfaces coated with high emissivity materials) become calibration and standard sources for devices such as infrared thermometers, radiation pyrometers, thermal imagers, and photoelectric detectors, and are widely used in fields such as temperature measurement, infrared imaging calibration, remote sensing calibration, and optical measurement.2025 sales volume: 55,000 units, average price: $3,250, total production capacity: 65,000 units, gross margin: 45%.
