Typical usage: approximately 0.3?0.8 g of coating is applied to one side of a 250?350 mL paper cup; approximately 0.2?0.5 g is applied to a hamburger/sandwich packaging sleeve; 1 ton of coating can supply approximately 800,000?1,200,000 medium-sized cups or 400,000?600,000 takeout containers. Upstream, the company primarily relies on aqueous polymer emulsions and PVOH/EVOH resins, bio-based starch and vegetable oil-modified polymers, inorganic functional fillers, and functional additives. Raw material and formulation costs account for approximately 58%?70% of the coatings ex-factory cost.
