Power grid drone inspection services refer to a business model where operators utilize industrial-grade drones (multi-rotor, fixed-wing, or hybrid-wing) equipped with sensors such as visible light, infrared, and lidar to conduct autonomous or remote-controlled flight inspections of transmission lines, substations, and distribution facilities. This process collects high-definition images, temperature data, and point cloud data in real time, and automatically identifies defects (broken strands, insulator damage, tree obstructions, overheating of fittings, etc.) using AI algorithms. Ultimately, the service provides the power grid company with a one-stop outsourcing service encompassing data + report + work order.
