Due to the higher cost of coating, the sales price of VCM is higher than that of PCM.

The raw materials for VCM laminated panels consist of two parts: a metal substrate and a polymer film. The substrate is typically made of 0.30.6 mm galvanized, aluminized zinc, or stainless steel coils, accounting for approximately 6068% of the cost. The surface film is mainly PVC, PET, or composite film. Imported films (LG Hausys, Renolit) cost 1417 RMB/m, while domestic films can be as low as 1011 RMB/m. The film material accounts for 2030% of the total production cost, with the remainder being hot melt adhesive, protective film, energy consumption, and labor. Therefore, steel prices are the primary variable determining the cost fluctuation of VCM panels, while the quality of the film material determines the price difference per square meter.
