The laser speed probe is a non-contact measuring tool that uses a laser beam to illuminate a rotating object and determines the rotation speed of the rotating object by measuring the reflected laser signal. The working principle of the laser speed probe is based on the reflection and photoelectric conversion of the laser. Specifically, the laser emits a laser beam, which is irradiated onto the rotating object (usually a reflective tape or refractive target is required to be attached to the rotating object), and then reflected back to the probe. The photoelectric detector in the probe receives the reflected laser signal and converts it into an electrical signal. By measuring the frequency or period of this electrical signal, the rotation speed of the rotating object can be calculated.
