Liquid Chlorine Sensors are devices designed to detect and measure the concentration of liquid chlorine or chlorine gas in the environment. They work based on electrochemical, catalytic combustion, semiconductor and other sensing technologies. For example, electrochemical liquid chlorine sensors measure the current generated by the redox reaction of liquid chlorine on the electrode to calculate its concentration. Catalytic combustion sensors detect the change in heat generated by the combustion of liquid chlorine gas under the action of a catalyst, while semiconductor sensors calculate the concentration by measuring the effect of liquid chlorine gas on the conductivity of semiconductor materials. When the concentration of liquid chlorine reaches or exceeds a preset threshold, the sensor generates an electrical signal, which is then converted and amplified by the circuit. This enables the accurate measurement and display of liquid chlorine concentration, and can also trigger an alarm to prompt relevant personnel to take measures in a timely manner, playing a crucial role in ensuring safety in chemical production, water treatment, paper making and other industries.
