They ensure circuit performance through the characteristics of electromagnetic energy storage and release. Together, they constitute the core basic modules for energy regulation and signal processing in modern electronic systems.
From the upstream point of view, the supply of raw materials for magnetic components is highly concentrated, and the core raw materials mainly include magnetic materials, enameled wires, insulating materials, etc. Globally, the market for magnetic materials (soft and hard magnetic) is mainly distributed in China, with an output of about 67% of the world. Relying on rare earth resources (accounting for 37% of global reserves) and low-cost advantages (production costs are 20%-30% lower than Japanese companies), China has become a supply center for key materials such as NdFeB permanent magnets (accounting for 90% of global output). Magnetic component manufacturers are mainly distributed in Taiwan, China, and mainland China, and Japan. In the inverter link, high-frequency transformers (operating frequency>20kHz) achieve harmonic suppression and soft switching control through LLC resonant circuit topology, and the conversion efficiency can reach more than 98.5%; in the boost grid-connected stage, the three-phase dry-type transformer boosts the 400V DC output of the string inverter to 800-1000V AC, which must meet the C40 weather resistance level and 5% voltage accuracy requirements.
