An ultra-high frequency ultrasonic transducer is a device that uses the piezoelectric effect of materials to convert electrical energy into mechanical vibrations. When an electrical signal with a frequency equal to the natural oscillation frequency of the piezoelectric chip is applied to the electrode, the piezoelectric chip will resonate, vibrate and transmit ultrasonic energy in a fixed direction, thereby converting the electrical signal into an ultrasonic signal. Conversely, when the resonance disk receives ultrasonic waves, the piezoelectric chip is compressed and vibrates, thereby converting the sound wave signal into an electrical signal. An ultra-high frequency ultrasonic transducer is usually composed of a housing, a matching layer (i.e., an acoustic window), a piezoelectric ceramic disc transducer, a backing, and a lead-out cable. Among them, the piezoelectric ceramic disc transducer is the core component, responsible for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy.
