Ultracapacitor mainly use fast and reversible redox reactions on the double layer or electrodes to store energy. The energy storage process does not produce chemical reactions. It has the characteristics of short charging time, long service life, good temperature characteristics, energy saving and green environmental protection.


The energy storage principle of Ultracapacitor is based on the adsorption or adsorption-desorption process of charge on the electrode surface, which is related to the working principle of electrochemical capacitors or electric double layer capacitors (EDLC).
